Unseeable Descent

I fell into the deep blue sea

That overfilled with my tears

Got lost in every current

Yet land was so near

I could see the raft to save myself

Yet I did not even reach out my hand

Deeper I feel into the abyss

Emotions freezing my limbs

I fell into the deep blue sea

My body floated like a feather

I saw glimmers of light above

But closed my eyes so I could feel better

I could have saved myself

But my sadness continued to bring me down

I became lost in my feelings

So lost I couldn’t move or make a sound

I fell into the deep blue sea

Yet I was surrounded by family and friends

I am lost within a world within my world

And everyone thinks I’m okay
