Who is afraid of the big bad wolf?
I have always screamed NOT I
For I am braver than I look
Even though I stand under 5 foot 5
My chest is always out a bit
I am not afraid to speak
That was until one day I met someone
Who forced me to take a deeper look at me
The strength in my demeanor
The determination in my soul
The willpower to keep on going
The hunger to aggressively accomplish goals
So who is afraid of the big bad wolf?
When the wolf is inside of me
Fiercely protecting all that I know
And fighting hard for who I’m destined to be
A ripple in time in a distant land
A land I do not wish to always be
I am tired of being the big bad wolf
I’m only strong because I wonder who will be strong for me
