On the other side of honesty
I found the truth at last
It was covered in sparkles
And It was fleeting away fast
You see the opposite of honesty
Has a way of shining for all to see
It glitters to cover the bullshit
That it does not want us to see
Oh the heartaches we endure
When it is the truth that we seek
Yet we are forced to devour
A lie that we don’t want to believe
For the opposite of honesty
Is so prevalent in this land
But I choose not to follow your lies
And walk the other way instead
