Stranger In My Bed

He resides within my bed

At my loneliest hours

He consumes my head

Day after Day

He fills my heart

With so many desires

But he is still

Just a stranger in my bed

He resides within my bed

When my heart’s weak

He kisses me

More and More

He warms me up

And my heart melts

But he is still

Just a stranger in my bed

He touches me

But we aren’t touching

We connect

But then again we don’t

Our love is pseudo silent

Practically invisible to me and most

He resides within my bed

He at times consume my head

But he is still

Just a stranger
