Selective Hearing

I find it somewhat funny
Somewhat a little complex
That you can’t answer the questions
The questions that I ask

My words to you are jumbled
So complicated to say the least
Yet if I say nevermind
Nevermind you understand so clearly

I’m talking around in circles
I’m saying things over again
You say that I am always complaining
So complain is what I’ll do again

Yet I find it quite amusing
That when I say what you want to hear
It sounds like sweet sweet music
Sweet music to your ears

But when I have a problem
That I have to voice again and again
You can’t seem to answer the questions
The questions that I do ask
