The stars that twinkle late at night
Let me know that I am alive
Each flicker of light sparkles magically
Just like the twinkle in a stranger’s eyes
The dew that hits my cheeks
As I lay beneath the stars
Feels like the softest touch
As soft as kleenex on minor scars
The beauty that I find
Within the still of every night
The beauty of the night sky
Before my bedtime gives me life
For I have enjoyed another day
And will awake to see twinkles in my day life
For it is the night time when I truly feel alive
