A Trillion Dollars

If I had a trillion dollars

Or perhaps a trillion times two

I wouldn’t offer you a measly cent

And this is so very true

I would buy myself some land

And build a house or probably two

I would build a great big fence

So I am never bothered by you

I would change my phone number

I might even change my entire name

I would take care of the people

Who always remained the same

You always said money changed people

And somehow I guess you were right

It showed me how greedy you are

And how I want you out of my sight

That’s why If I had a trillion dollars

Or perhaps a trillion times two

I wouldn’t offer you a measly cent

And this is so very true

Money is the root of all evil

That’s what the old folks say

So I am telling you now

“DEVIL! Please Go away”

For while my bank account is overflowing

And I definiately have more than enough to spare and last

I would rather decide to use the excess on a statue for you to kiss

A golden statue of my a$$
